# Cart page

The full-page cart at `/cart`. Most customers never see it — the [cart drawer](/sitesbyseth-docs/skeleton/sections/cart-drawer.md) handles day-to-day cart action — but this page catches anyone who navigates to the cart URL directly or has JavaScript disabled.

It shows each line item with image, variant, quantity steppers, price, and a remove link; a summary column with an optional order note, the subtotal, a shipping/taxes note, and the checkout button. Empty carts get a "continue shopping" button to your all-products collection.

**Where to find it:** theme editor → page selector → **Others → Cart**.

## Settings

### Section style

* **Top padding** / **Bottom padding** (0–120 px, default 64), **Background color**, **Text color**.

The order note box is controlled globally: **Theme settings → Cart → Show order note field** (on by default).

## No blocks

The milestone bar, upsells, and free gift live on the [cart drawer](/sitesbyseth-docs/skeleton/sections/cart-drawer.md), not this page.

💡 **Pro tip:** leave this page alone and invest your effort in the cart drawer — that's where virtually all of your customers manage their cart. Just confirm the page looks right once in preview so the edge cases are covered.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://sitesbyseth.gitbook.io/sitesbyseth-docs/skeleton/sections/main-cart.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
